About Us

 

As a young man, Samuel Aaron learned the jewelry business at the knee of his cousin and his father-in-law. In 1950, Sam stepped out on his own and started his own company with one employee - himself. Today, The Aaron Group is an international jewelry manufacturer and wholesaler with hundreds of employees in offices around the world. But the client-first values that guide the company today are the same as those that Sam applied during its earliest days.

Sam started with tireless devotion to his trade and a commitment to the highest levels of customer service. From his tiny Manhattan office, Sam started a factory that included a setting shop, a jewelry shop and polishing. With NYC as his base, Sam hit the road, logging thousands of miles around the country, building relationships that still exist today.

The Aaron Group became a true family business in 1963, when Sam’s son-in-law Jon joined the company. Upon Sam’s retirement, Jon took the helm and oversaw a significant expansion of the company’s operations. On Jon’s watch, The Aaron Group became a major force globally, with operations, factories and partnerships in Thailand, Hong Kong, and India.

In 1992, Bob Wueste took the reins. Under his guidance, The Aaron Group achieved new levels of prosperity while still maintaining the company’s hallmark personal touch.

In 2002, Jon’s nephew Robert (Bobby) Kempler – a veteran of several decades with the family business – took charge of the company. Under Bobby’s leadership, The Aaron Group has committed itself to a forward-looking vision with a focus on technology’s ability to facilitate the evolution of jewelry.
